#IWD2017 Women’s Chronicles: Fix Versus Process

By  |  0 Comments
Belive me when I say, all I knew I wanted to do at the start of March was to take the mask off and talk about our own limitations we set for each other as women. But, I never knew how I was going to do it or what I was going to talk about each day.
All I knew back then, was that my heart was to be true, my thought was to be thorough and my feeling was to be honest and objective.
So here we are on the fourteenth day and I have not in anyway figured out what I will write about tomorrow. I might fail at it and someone might read all of what I have written thus far and all they would see as crictics is that it was rubbish.
Oh yes…it is very possible my dear one.  Don’t expect your hard work to be tagged as hard work by everyone. Some would tell you it’s NOTHING.
When we hear that as women, we GIVE UP. WHY? Because one lunatic of a human couldn’t see ONE GOOD in you, but instead paid all of his or her attention on the BAD.
YOU, yes YOU then find him or her worthy enough to GIVE UP.  What is left of you after that?  NOTHING!  Indeed that nothing he or she described your work is actually true.
However, when you TAKE NOTE of that criticism and WORK on it, you give yourself a WIN and give him or her a LOSS.
You end up owning everything because, the fact that he or she finds pleasure in pointing out your flaws and every time he or she does it, you FIX IT, every other time you FIX IT, every day you FIX IT! Girl you ain’t letting go today. You are waking up and making it right.
This should be “us” – WOMEN!  Anytime he says or she says YOU ARE TERRIBLE, you say WATCH ME FIX IT.
When we begin to do that, then we start the process.  We begin a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end. We become better. We learn new techniques and improve our skills. In the process we practice everyday- We sculpt us into GOLD.
Don’t deprive yourself GREATNESS, all because you stopped FIXING YOU in the PROCESS of being a BETTER VERSION OF YOU!
Let us direct our eyes, attention or mind steadily or unwaveringly towards our goals. BE YOUR OWN BEST SCULPTOR AND WATCH THE WORLD HONOR YOU!
