How to make a BIG impact this school year!

As you begin the new school year, you may be nervous if you’re starting at a new school or you could be sad, if you and your friends are no longer attending the same school.

Here are some tips on how to make this school year fun, impactful and a year to remember!

1. Interact with new people
You could approach people that you wouldn’t necessarily talk to on a daily basis. Maybe you could become friends and find out interests that you have in common.

2. Try new things
You could get into new clubs and activities and maybe you might realize some of your hidden talents.

3. Have your work done ahead
Always strive to have your homework done before the due date. To help you do so, you could:
• Ask questions if you aren’t sure of the subject
• Have the work done a day or two before the due date
• Confirm with an adult if unsure

4. Have a good/honest relationship with your teachers
You should be able to tell your teacher that you are having difficulty or disagreements with other students, because they could find a solution for you, if needed.

5. Stay positive
During the school year you shouldn’t become gloomy or sad if you’ve had a bad day. Instead you should talk to someone and maybe you’ll feel better.

Do your best, have fun and good luck this school year!!!
